Hunan Sanan Semiconductor held a ceremony to open the M6B equipment at its second chip plant

The total investment of Hunan Sanan SiC project is as high as RMB 16 billion, with the goal of establishing a 6-inch/8-inch compatible SiC full industry chain vertically integrated mass production platform. After the project reaches full production, it will have an annual manufacturing capacity of 360,000 6-inch SiC wafers and 480,000 8-inch SiC wafers. As an important part of Hunan Sanan's SiC industry layout, M6B has attracted much attention for its production. It is expected that in December this year, M6B will be lit up, 8-inch SiC chips will be officially put into production, and Hunan Sanan Semiconductor will officially transform into an 8-inch SiC vertically integrated manufacturer.
