BYD announces all-solid-state battery cost and mass production schedule

According to reports, BYD plans to start small-scale production of all-solid-state batteries in 2027 for use in its high-end models, with an estimated output of about 1,000 units. By 2030, all-solid-state batteries will enter the market promotion period, with an estimated installation of 40,000 vehicles and the start of application in mainstream price segment models. By 2033, all-solid-state batteries will enter a period of rapid expansion, with an estimated scale of installation of 120,000 vehicles and a gradual increase in market share.
