Samsung Electronics to mass-produce 9th-generation V-NAND flash memory

According to sources, Samsung Electronics is expected to start mass production of the ninth-generation V-NAND flash memory later this month, which will have 290 layers of stacking. As demand for high-performance and large storage devices grows, Samsung Electronics also plans to launch 430-layer NAND chips next year.
