CATL leads the R&D of long-life battery technology

In the field of new energy vehicles, CATL has always been a leader in technological innovation. In 2022, the company launched the record-breaking Kirin battery, which has a range of over 1,000 kilometers. In 2023, it launched the Shenxing supercharged battery, which achieved 4C supercharging on lithium iron phosphate materials, and its Kirin 5C battery has also been officially installed and launched. In 2024, CATL once again launched a long-life battery. In addition, CATL has also promoted the application of long-life battery technology in the commercial vehicle field. For example, the 15-year, 1.5 million-kilometer long-life battery released by Yutong Group in cooperation with CATL has nearly doubled its life compared to existing conventional products.
