According to The Paper, Tesla's Shanghai Energy Storage Super Factory is scheduled to start construction in May this year and go into mass production in 2025. The factory is located in the Lingang District of Shanghai and will produce large-scale commercial energy storage batteries, Megapack. This is Tesla's first energy storage super factory project outside the United States.
