Microchip releases integrated actuation power solution

Microchip Technology Inc. has introduced an integrated actuation power solution designed to simplify the aviation industry's transition to more electric aircraft (MEA). The solution combines a matching gate drive board with our extended hybrid power drive (HPD) module using silicon carbide or silicon technology, with a power range from 5 kVA to 20 kVA. This integrated solution helps reduce design time, resources and costs, supporting a variety of applications from drones to electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
