OmniVision Technologies and Seeing Machine reach cooperation agreement

OmniVision Technologies, a global developer of digital imaging solutions, and Seeing Machine, a computer vision technology company, have officially signed a licensing agreement to license the Occula® neural processing unit to OmniVision Technologies. This move marks the first time that Seeing Machine's Occula® has been licensed on a chip, which will power the human-machine interface of the future. The two companies will work together to combine Occula® Silicon IP with OmniVision's machine vision silicon technology to provide optimized, highly integrated solutions for the global DMS and OMS markets.
