Volkswagen adjusts U.S. factory production plans

Volkswagen recently announced that due to poor sales performance of the ID.4 pure electric SUV in the US market, the company will cut production of the model from the end of October and temporarily arrange for 160 employees to take leave. These employees will receive approximately 80% of their salary and a full set of benefits during the leave period.
