Ford plans lineup of affordable electric vehicles

Ford plans to launch a new line of affordable electric vehicles in 2027, including a mid-size pickup truck with a starting price of around $30,000. The four-door pickup will be assembled at Ford's Louisville, Kentucky, plant, which currently produces the Escape and Lincoln Corsair. Ford will invest nearly $2 billion in the plant, a move that will preserve at least 2,200 jobs.
