Xpeng Motors insists on full vision solution

In a recent media interview, He Xiaopeng, Chairman of Xpeng Motors, stated that the company will continue to adhere to a full-vision approach and predicted that the technological competition between LiDAR and pure vision will end by 2027. He Xiaopeng believes that vision systems have the potential to far exceed LiDAR and will be able to identify complex and subtle objects on the road, such as tiny nails that could cause tire punctures or dislodged manhole covers.
