FAW Toyota Chengdu Company recalls some domestically produced Asia Dragon models

FAW Toyota Motor (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. announced a recall of 54,143 domestically produced Avalon vehicles manufactured between June 24, 2024, and February 10, 2025, effective September 30, 2025. The recall is due to an improperly programmed instrument cluster control program, which can cause the instrument cluster screen to go black during initial startup, preventing it from displaying information like vehicle speed and warning lights, posing a safety hazard.
