SkyWater Completes Acquisition of Infineon's Austin Fab

SkyWater announced its second-quarter 2025 financial results on August 6th, stating that the company has completed the acquisition of Infineon's 200mm wafer fab in Austin, Texas. SkyWater CEO Thomas Sonderman stated that the acquisition was in line with expectations and that the fab is expected to contribute at least $300 million in revenue annually starting in the third quarter.
