Samsung SDI and Lucid Motors team up to create a new king of battery life

Samsung SDI, in collaboration with Lucid Motors, an emerging American electric vehicle manufacturer, has successfully developed the Lucid Air Grand Touring, which has set a new Guinness World Record for the world's longest-range production electric vehicle, boasting a range of 1,205 kilometers on a single charge. The new vehicle, equipped with 6,600 21700 cylindrical batteries provided by Samsung SDI and Lucid Motors' motor technology, achieves 831 horsepower and ultra-low energy consumption of 13.5 kWh/100 km, with a top speed of 270 kilometers per hour.
