Former BMW design chief Kai Langer joins Xiaomi Auto

Kai Langer, former head of BMW i series design, recently announced his joining Xiaomi Auto. He will reportedly report to Xiaomi Auto Chief Designer Li Tianyuan. Langer has worked at BMW for over 20 years, overseeing the design of the first-generation BMW i3 and i8, and holding key positions in BMW's Advanced Design department. He places great importance on the role of design in automobiles, believing it can unlock the emotions of future vehicles and provide form for innovative technologies.
