Renault Group completes stake acquisition in Chennai, India

Renault Group has completed its acquisition of a 51% stake in Nissan's Chennai plant in India for US$404 million, giving it full control of the plant. Since its opening in 2010, the plant has produced over 2.8 million vehicles, of which approximately 1.2 million were exported to over 100 countries and regions worldwide.
