Stellantis announced that it will invest 38 million euros (about 41 million U.S. dollars) in the Verrone plant in northern Italy to produce electric motor parts for its upcoming small electric vehicles (EVs). The plant will focus on the production of steel components for Electric Drive Modules (EDM), which are currently produced by Stellantis' other plants in Europe. The new production line is expected to be put into production by the end of 2027.
