Intel appoints Lip-Bu Tan as new CEO

Intel Corporation announced today that its board of directors has appointed Lip-Bu Tan as its new chief executive officer, effective March 18. Lip-Bu Tan will succeed interim co-CEOs David Zinsner and Michelle (MJ) Johnston Holthaus. Lip-Bu Tan will step down from Intel's board of directors in August 2024, at which time he will rejoin Intel's board of directors.
