Geely Auto is looking for a factory site in Europe, and Lynk & Co plans to manufacture pure electric vehicles in China

Li Chuanhai, vice president of Geely Auto Group, revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany that the company is looking for a suitable factory site in Europe to advance its localized production plan. Although it has not yet fully committed to establishing a local production base, Nicolas Appelgren, CEO of Lynk & Co Auto Europe, announced that Lynk & Co will launch a Chinese-made pure electric vehicle in Italy in October. Zeekr released its European strategy in April 2023, with the goal of becoming a leading brand in the European electric vehicle market by 2030.
