Vehicle-road-cloud integration leads the development of intelligent connected vehicles

The development trend of intelligent connected vehicles is vehicle-road-cloud integration, which has become a long-term strategic task. This technology integrates the physical space and information space of people, vehicles, roads, and clouds through the new generation of communication technology, providing an important path for realizing autonomous driving. By August 2024, a total of 17 intelligent connected vehicle demonstration zones, 7 national-level vehicle networking pilot zones, 16 dual-intelligence cities, and 20 vehicle-road-cloud integration pilot cities will be built across the country, with more than 22,000 kilometers of open test demonstration roads, more than 5,200 test licenses issued, and a total test mileage of 88 million kilometers.
