Seeing Machines is an Australian computer vision technology company that specializes in designing driver monitoring systems. In August 2017, Autoliv announced a collaboration with Seeing Machines to jointly develop the next generation of autonomous vehicle driving status monitoring systems. The company's machine learning vision platform can analyze the head, face, and eyes through artificial intelligence to understand the driver's condition in real time in order to provide a driver monitoring system (DMS) that monitors the driver/operator's attention and identifies their drowsiness and distraction on the way. Seeing Machines develops driver monitoring systems for the automotive, commercial fleet, aviation, rail, and off-road markets, with offices in Australia, the United States, Europe, and Asia, and provides multi-platform solutions for industry leaders in vertical industries. We can provide our software to customers as an embedded system on a silicon platform, such as our FOVIO chip or Qualcomm's Snapdragon Ride platform.
