Skoda plans to use SAIC Roewe's DMH super hybrid system to increase sales in China

According to media reports, Skoda is in talks with SAIC Group, planning to learn from the cooperation model between Volkswagen and Xiaopeng, Audi and SAIC, and adopt SAIC Roewe's DMH super hybrid system to launch plug-in hybrid models that better meet the needs of Chinese consumers. Since Skoda entered the Chinese market in 2005 in cooperation with SAIC Volkswagen, it has always enjoyed the reputation of "cheap Volkswagen" in the market at a relatively low price, and its sales volume was once very impressive. However, in recent years, due to the rise of independent brands and intensified market competition, Skoda's market share has gradually been eroded and sales have continued to decline. In order to save its business in the Chinese market, Skoda decided to adopt SAIC Roewe's DMH super hybrid system in order to increase sales.
