Vitesco Technologies' silicon carbide power modules achieve first batch production at Tianjin plant

Vitesco Technologies recently successfully achieved the first mass production of silicon carbide power modules at its Tianjin factory. This highly efficient power module is equipped with silicon carbide semiconductors and can significantly reduce the charging time of electric vehicles and increase the driving range. In addition, due to the wide bandgap characteristics of silicon carbide, the power module has lower on-resistance, faster speed and lower switching loss. The Tianjin plant is the Asian manufacturing center for Vitesco Technologies' power modules and is also the first plant to put silicon carbide power modules into mass production.
