Wu Shengbo, President and CEO of Ford China, emphasized, "Ford must change from being a 'small fish' in a big pond to being a 'big fish' in a small pond." He believes that it is impossible to make a profit by making large vehicles purely electric. Ford's strategy is to make medium and large vehicles and adopt extended-range, plug-in hybrid and oil-hybrid technologies.
