BYD hires lobbyist to study entry into Canadian market

BYD has submitted documents to the Canadian government to indicate its intention to enter Canada to sell passenger electric vehicles and establish new businesses. Although the United States has recently raised tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, BYD does not seem to be affected much and is still actively expanding overseas markets.
