Bosch's new wafer fabs in Germany and the United States

Bosch acquired the Reutlingen wafer plant in Germany in 2021 and is currently producing SiC chip samples based on 8-inch wafers for customer trials. In addition, in 2023, Bosch also acquired the Roseville plant in the United States and invested approximately US$1.5 billion to upgrade the plant, and is expected to start producing 8-inch SiC wafers in 2026.
