Storage vendors release impressive financial reports

Samsung Electronics' preliminary second-quarter financial report shows that its operating profit has increased significantly, far exceeding market expectations. Samsung Electronics expects its second-quarter consolidated revenue to be 74 trillion won and its operating profit to be 10.4 trillion won. Micron Technology's latest quarterly financial report shows that its revenue was $6.811 billion, a 17% increase from the previous quarter and an 81.5% increase from the previous year; its net profit was $702 million, a 47% increase from the previous quarter. SK Hynix's first-quarter financial report shows that its revenue for the quarter hit a record high of 12.4296 trillion won, its operating profit was 2.886 trillion won, and its net profit was 1.917 trillion won.
