Volkswagen ID.3 is Germany's best-selling BEV for the second month in a row

In June, Volkswagen ID.3 was once again the best-selling pure electric vehicle (BEV) in Germany, with sales of 6,370 units. It was followed by MG4 with sales of 4,492 units, and Tesla Model Y ranked third with sales of 3,346 units. According to the latest data, the market share of new energy vehicles in Germany fell to 19.8% in June, down 4.8 percentage points from the same period last year. The decline was mainly attributed to macroeconomic challenges, high electric vehicle prices and the cancellation of incentive policies.
