Xinwangda: It is expected that the cost of all-solid-state batteries will drop to 2 yuan/Wh in 2026

In an exclusive interview, Sunwoda said that through technological innovation, the company expects to reduce the cost of all-solid-state batteries of polymer systems to 2 yuan/Wh in 2026, which is close to the cost of semi-solid-state batteries. Xu Zhongling, director of Sunwoda Central Research Institute, said that the company has completed a small test of all-solid-state batteries with a capacity of 20Ah and an energy density of more than 400Wh/kg. The company is simultaneously building an all-solid-state battery production line, which is expected to be mass-produced in 2026 with a production capacity of 1GWh.
