Aptiv Technology Center's New Transformation Journey

At the beginning of 2021, the new GL8 car in the Aptiv China Technology Center Park was ruthlessly dismantled. This was a modification plan carried out by the AS&UX engineering team. The team decided to personally inspect the car for the leader because the GL8 is equipped with an active safety and infotainment system deeply developed by Aptiv, which realizes 20 advanced intelligent driving assistance functions and FOTA remote upgrade functions. In order to meet future needs, the team proposed six strategic goals, including intelligent human-computer interaction, assisted driving visualization, virtual reality cockpit, radar 360° perception, car-connected everything and L2+ assisted driving. Based on these goals, the team started the modification project of GL8.
