Background and progress of Wuhan vehicle-road-cloud integration project

Following the successful implementation of a 9.94 billion yuan vehicle-road-cloud integration project in Beijing, Wuhan has announced another similar project with a total investment of 17 billion yuan. It is expected that 20 cities across the country will participate in the pilot, with each city investing between several billion and tens of billions of yuan. The project is scheduled to start in June this year, involving multiple fields such as smart parking, intelligent network industry clusters, and automotive-grade chip industrial parks. The project involves the intelligent transformation of 15,000 intersections and 5,500 kilometers of related road sections.
