Autoliv builds new plant in Hefei to deepen its presence in China

On June 12, Autoliv held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new factory in the Economic Development Zone of Feixi County, Hefei. The factory mainly produces steering wheels, with an estimated annual output of 4 million units, which will enhance Autoliv's supply capacity in the global automotive safety system market. The new factory covers an area of ​​50,000 square meters, with a construction area of ​​20,000 square meters in the first phase, and is expected to be completed in 2025. The factory will use advanced equipment and technology to achieve full-process production, and introduce a digital management model to create an intelligent and green factory.
