BYD's 15th Business Unit was renamed Fudi Technology

BYD's 15th Division was established in 2003. It was formerly the 15th and 16th Divisions and was renamed Fudi Technology in 2019. It mainly develops, produces and sells auto parts products, and provides complete sets of parts solutions. Its products cover three major areas such as batteries, motors, and electronic systems. This year, Fudi Technology was renamed the 15th Division. It is reported that BYD's 15th Division has launched a humanoid robot project called "Yao, Shun and Yu". The project has been actively recruiting. It is reported that the 15th Division adjusted its organizational structure in the first half of this year. Some employees were split out to form an artificial intelligence laboratory, which was later renamed the Future Laboratory, focusing on embodied intelligence, including the research and development of robots.
