HUAYU Automotive Electronics and Uhnder jointly develop a new generation of 4D digital imaging radar

Huayu Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. and Uhnder Corporation of the United States have reached a cooperation agreement to jointly develop a new generation of 4D millimeter wave imaging radar. The radar uses a PMCW system SOC chip with high transceiver channels and processing capabilities, which can effectively improve target detection accuracy and resolution and enhance imaging quality. This technology is similar to CDMA technology in the communication field, which can enhance anti-interference capabilities and solve the problem that traditional radars are difficult to identify weakly reflective targets around strong reflective targets.
