BYD sets up a dedicated team to develop embodied intelligence

BYD's 15th Division has set up a special team to develop embodied intelligence. The person in charge of the project is Luo Zhongliang, the top person in charge of the division. It is reported that the team adjusted its organizational structure in the first half of the year, separating some employees from the Science and Technology Research Institute to form an artificial intelligence laboratory, which was later renamed the Future Laboratory, focusing on the research and development of embodied intelligence, including robots. At present, they are recruiting relevant talents on a large scale.
