Shanghai, Shenzhen and Xi'an compete for the title of new energy vehicle production

In the past three years, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Xi'an have been competing fiercely in the production of new energy vehicles. In 2021, Shanghai led with 632,000 vehicles, far exceeding the total of Shenzhen (299,500 vehicles) and Xi'an (269,000 vehicles). In 2022, Xi'an surpassed Shanghai (988,600 vehicles) with 1,015,200 vehicles, while Shenzhen ranked behind with 874,700 vehicles. In 2023, Shanghai's production increased to 1,286,800 vehicles, Xi'an's dropped to 983,800 vehicles, and Shenzhen won the championship with 1,786,000 vehicles.
