BASF and Swedish recycling company Stena Recycling reach lithium battery recycling cooperation

German chemical giant BASF has entered into a partnership with Swedish recycling company Stena Recycling to recycle lithium batteries in Europe. The focus of the cooperation is to develop and improve the production process of black powder to increase the recovery rate of metals such as lithium, nickel and cobalt.
