Chinese companies' patent layout in the field of solid-state batteries

As of October 2023, Chinese companies have less than 100 patents related to all-solid-state batteries. Among the global patent applications in the field of solid-state batteries, nearly 45% come from Japan, followed by China, the United States, Germany, and South Korea. Among them, Toyota is the company with the largest number of patent applications in the field of all-solid-state batteries, with more than 1,300 all-solid-state battery patents.
