Huafa Group and Beijing Weilan New Energy signed a strategic cooperation agreement

On November 10, 2024, the state-owned Huafa Group and Beijing Weilan New Energy announced a strategic cooperation in the field of solid-state battery industry. According to the agreement, Weilan New Energy and Guangdong Weilan plan to set up a subsidiary in Zhuhai, focusing on the research and development and production of solid-state batteries. The two parties also plan to jointly build a solid-state battery research and development center and overseas business headquarters, and carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of solid-state battery production and manufacturing, technology research and development, industrial ecosystem construction, industrial chain expansion, application scenario development and investment. The goal is to build Zhuhai into a solid-state battery research and development, production, application and innovation base with regional and even national influence.
