BYD releases fifth-generation DM-i dual-mode hybrid system

BYD released its latest fifth-generation DM-i dual-mode hybrid system on May 28. The plug-in hybrid model of this system has a fuel consumption of only 2.9 liters per 100 kilometers when the battery is low, and the comprehensive cruising range can reach 2,100 kilometers. The release of this technology marks that the global plug-in hybrid technology has entered the Chinese era.
