Rivian and Volkswagen Group joint venture to be led by two executives

The joint venture between Volkswagen Group and Rivian Automotive will operate as an independent company and will be led by Rivian Chief Software Officer Wassym Bensaid and Volkswagen Chief Technology Officer Carsten Helbing, who will also jointly lead a dedicated group of approximately 1,000 engineers from both companies.
