NHTSA expands investigation into Waymo

On May 24, Bloomberg reported that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has expanded its investigation into self-driving car company Waymo. NHTSA has found that Waymo cars have had more collisions or possible violations of traffic laws. Currently, NHTSA is investigating several accidents, including 17 cases in which Waymo cars crashed into objects such as gates, chains and parked cars.
