BYD acquires Yian Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. and enters the insurance industry

BYD acquired Yian Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. for RMB 3.6 billion, becoming the first Chinese insurance company wholly owned by a private shareholder in the insurance industry.
