Tesla suspends innovative die-casting process and switches to traditional three-stage casting method

Tesla has reportedly decided to abandon its innovative plans for the first integrated die-casting process. The decision was made against the backdrop of declining sales and intensified market competition, indicating that Tesla is working to cut costs. Integrated die-casting is an advanced manufacturing technology that can die-cast multiple parts of the bottom of a car body into a whole, simplifying the production process and reducing costs. However, Tesla has now chosen to return to the traditional three-stage casting method and adopt this method in its two latest models, Model Y and Cybertruck.
