On December 17, Momenta, a domestic full-stack autonomous driving solution provider, announced that its self-developed autonomous driving middleware OBF-CM has passed the ISO 26262 ASIL D functional safety product certification of TÜV Rheinland of Germany. This is the first time that a domestic company has obtained the highest level of functional safety product certification from TÜV Rheinland for this function. OBF-CM is the core module of Momenta's unified basic software framework OBF for autonomous driving systems and has been deployed on dozens of mass-produced models. In the future, Momenta plans to continue to cooperate with TÜV Rheinland to improve the quality of OBF products.
