BMW invests 800 million to expand electric vehicle base

BMW Group has started preparations for the production of the new electric concept car Neue Klasse at its San Luis Potosi plant in Mexico. The total investment in the expansion of the Mexican production base is 800 million euros (about 859 million yuan), of which 500 million euros are used for the construction of a high-voltage battery production center.
