Indian government launches Rs 1.26 trillion chip industry project

The Indian government has approved three chip industry projects with an estimated investment of 1.26 trillion rupees. Tata Group is leading two of the projects, namely the construction of a semiconductor factory in Dholera, Gujarat and a semiconductor assembly and testing factory in Dholera.
