Nissan unveils all-solid-state battery pilot production line

Recently, Nissan Motor disclosed the planned location of its all-solid-state battery trial production line. Nissan plans to start producing all-solid-state batteries in March 2025, with the goal of achieving mass production in 2028. The energy density of all-solid-state batteries is about twice that of traditional lithium-ion batteries. At present, the research and development of all-solid-state lithium batteries is in full swing in China, and many scientific research institutions and enterprises have made a series of progress in material synthesis, battery design, manufacturing process, etc.
