ACC signs new loan to boost production despite European electric vehicle slump

On December 11, a spokesman for ACC said that despite the poor performance of the European electric vehicle market, the company has signed a new loan to finance the second production block of its super factory in northern France. The loan is guaranteed by ACC's two major shareholders, automakers Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz Group, and is worth about 1 billion euros. The plant already operates a plant with a maximum capacity of 15GWh, and a second 13GWh plant is under construction.
