Sichuan Economic and Information Technology Commission approved the first phase expansion of the Yibin project of Geely's power battery production base

Sichuan Economic and Information Technology Commission has agreed in principle to the expansion of the first phase of the power battery production base project of Geely (Sichuan) Power Battery Co., Ltd. in Yibin. The total investment of the project is RMB 870 million. It will purchase advanced equipment and technology to upgrade the existing production line and add a post-process and module production line. After completion, the annual production capacity of lithium-ion power batteries at the base will increase from 15GWh to 25GWh.
