On December 25, Lei Jun, founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi, announced on Weibo that Xiaomi Motors will work with NIO, Xpeng Motors and Li Auto to jointly develop a charging and energy replenishment network. This news quickly became a hot search on Weibo. Previously, Lei Jun and Wang Hua had revealed on social media that Xiaomi would reach a charging and energy replenishment network cooperation with NIO, Xpeng and Li Auto. Netizens praised Lei's circle of friends for being powerful, believing that this will make charging more convenient for future new energy vehicle owners. At present, "NIO, Xpeng and Li Auto" are all accelerating the layout of the charging network. As of December 19, Xpeng Motors' charging network layout has more than 1,830 self-operated stations and more than 9,370 charging piles, covering more than 420 cities. As of December 22, Li Auto's supercharging network has 1,324 supercharging stations and 6,718 charging piles across the country.
